Friday
Came back to Kuching. Did two assignments until 2.00 am.

Saturday

Continued doing my assignment and managed to finish it.
Played and recorded music with my two sisters.

Sunday

I went to Damai Beach with Titia, Serene, Josephine, and Alex.

Monday
Went out with Cheryl, Rhema, Gabrielle, and Irene to buy Siw Hua's birthday present at tHe Spring.

Tuesday
Went to tHe Spring to meet Clarrise for awhile and at the same time, Dyann, Annie and Julie too. Met Esther coincidentally. Was suprised because we are suppose to meet at house after I go to tHe Spring. Went to Esther's house at 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm to chat with her.

Wednesday

Went to Sugarbun in tHe Spring to celebrate Siw Hua's birthday. Met Wendy C. coincidentally.

Thursday

Irene and Cheryl came to my house. My family celebrated my sister's birthday a.k.a Titia.

Friday
Met Nisha tHe Spring.Went to the park with Stephanie J.

Saturday

Haix. Going back tonight. ='( Wish I booked the ticket for Sunday flight instead.

If you all noticed, I went to tHe Spring four times in just one week!!

Next time coming back is 14 December. Going to youth camp from 15-18 December.

Friday:

Debra and I went to KLCC--> a comfort to me

because I had to go back to Kuching a day later than lotsa people.

Introducing you all to my good friend, Debra from Kuching!!

Well, met her on the first day when I went to Taylors.

We shop together, go church together and have one class together.

She turned out to be Rhema's neighbour! LOL!

I thank God for blessing me with a friend like her. =)

Saturday:

BELOVED KUCHING! How I missed Kuching!

I played my BELOVED piano once I reached home and

realized I had not forgotten how to play!

Met Amy, Clarrise and Dyann at 5 o clock at tHe Spring!

Went to drink White Lady after church. Yum.

Sunday: I did community work with my church members from 3-5 pm.

Rubbish collectors!!

Met up with my Rhema, Cheryl and Siw Hua at night at my house! Had a great time!

Monday: Went to Damai Puri with my sisters, Serene, Josephine, Alex and Eng Ming.

Tuesday: Stayed at home studying 3 chapters of Individuals and Families for Unit 2 Test.

Well Done Corde! lol.

Wednesday: Che Che and I met Gloria T at Foody Goody to eat LAKSA for da first time since I was bac! YEAH! Nice meeting her! =D

Thursday: studied and did my assignments.

My daily life in College so far.

I have been writing this post since so many days ago.Kept editing it and no time to post a complete one.So pics of my apartment, room, college,housemates and friends are not complete yet.

I got so many things to write.

Saturday,4th July
I reached KL in the afternoon.
Went shopping almost the entire day at Sunway Piramid
with my mother and my younger sister.
and I think we still cannot finish walking the entire place.
I bought some stuff .

I was so glad that the Mega Sale started on the day I came,4th July.

It was meant to be. =)

Sunday

I went to college with my luggages.

I never knew that JPA send so many students to there.

There were around 200 scholars that were in the July intake with me.
Oh my, I felt so..bacause I think I brought one of the most luggages.
4 bags,but my mum brought 2 back.
We had a talk by JPA officer and the ICPU principal.
I made new friends there.

I am staying at an apatment.and if you wanna know how my unit looks like:

go to Gabrielle's blog.I'm gonna put up my pics later..I'm kinda busy at the moment.OH MY OH MY I did not know we are staying in the same place

until I read her blog yesterday!haha.
3 buses (if I am not mistaken) brought all the students and parents to Casa Subang.

I checked in to my unit.
I share my room with another roommate:

There is no air-conditioner.

But my bed is by the window,

so its cold like air conditioner at night. =)
Altogether there are 7 of us.
I am glad that my housemates are all nice people

I went to church at 5 something.
As far as I noticed, it is a really lively church,with people that love God.
Good preaching as well.

Monday,

we had talks again.

I made my student ID.

The coachcroaches gave me a very warm welcome in my bedroom and in the bathroom.

I certainly had no peace of mind while bathing because the coachcroaches was running so near my clothes.

My roommate managed to kill the one in my bedroom.

But...there is still one in the kitchen.

Tuesday,

My slippers got stolen. Long story.

Classes began.

I always have to change classes.
So we are consistently walking every time we change class periods.
The style of teaching is different from the Malaysian system,

every class contains different people from different courses

but under the same program,

International Canadian Pre-University.

For example, in my English 3U class,there are people that are taking Engineering whereas I will be taking Social Science in the future after this program ends.
Thus,I get to meet many people.
I saw a lot of Koreans from other classes and pretty ones too, but I did not really get the chance to make friends with them.How I wish my one of my classes got a Korean that is really from Korea.
My classes have people from Iran,Tanzania,Turkey,Kedah,

Perak,Penang,Sabah,Sibu,Pahang,Johor,KL and many other places.

The classes I am taking are under
Mass Communication/Humanities/Psychology

The subjects
Individuals and Families in a Diverse Society
English 3U
Canadian and World Issues: A Geographical Analyis
Break
Canadian and International Law

All my lecturers are all Canadians from Canada

They are really good.
Classes here are much more different
and everything is so high tech.

I really like the way the lecturers teach us.
We also use something called the blackboard 7.
Our assignments can be handed online.
And our presence or absence in class can be checked online.
We even have an air conditioned computer lab called

The Web that has hundreds of computer.

I taught my friends how to play guitar.

We spent quite some time just trying to tune the guitar

because I struggle a little at tuning by ear.

The electronic tuner on the guitar is not that accurate.

I taught them Tong Hua by Guang Liang.

I figured out the chords myself. =) I am happy that at least I can sorta play by ear.
For now, I really need a piano to play.

Before my Grade 7 skills run out.

Wednesday-I got my first or second assignment. Cool.

Thursday-Attended a Presentation Skills workshop because everyone has to go to 4 workshops out of 8.

Friday-finally I get to rest later after college finishes!

Just If and Just Because?

God has been so faithful.
I prayed that he would close all doors that I am not meant to go through and he did.
Suprisingly I even with my straight As results, I did not get accepted by:

Matriculation Labuan even after I appealed
IPTA
Sime Darby
Petronas
Telekom (local)
and at first JPA

was really upset as you all can see from my older posts when I knew I did not get JPA.
I cried so much.
I was thinking how everyone asked me:
What are you gonna study?
Me: I am hoping to get a scholarship to go overseas.
Others: Sure can one la.
Me thinking: I am sure I can at least get one.

But I did not get one..until I appealed.

Anyways,

If I got straight A1s,
I would not know the pain of working so hard and yet still not getting straight A1s.
I would not know how other people feel when they do not get straight A1s when they were capable of doing so.
It was just because of some accidents that happenned during SPM.
If I got straight A1s,
Just perhaps I might have gotten JPA,instead of having to appeal.

And thus,
Since I did not get JPA at first,
I know all the more that I can always trust God
even in such an unseen,blurred future ahead.
I now know all the more the feeling of hopelessness.
I now know the dissapointment others felt when they got rejected by JPA.

I would not have wanted to go to Form 6 for fun at all if I got JPA.

And Just because I went to Form 6,
I made so many new friends:
Iqmal, Eason, Caesar, Felix and others..
And became closer to ex-classmates from 5 Science 1:
Siw Hua,Cheryl,Rhema,Esther and others.
I now know the feeling of studying with guys,
That guys are quite fun to study with
Having 6 weeks of unforgettable experience in St Joseph.
I even feel quite hard to leave Form 6 now.
I now know how hard one has to work to get good results
I now know what is Biology,Chemistry and Maths more.
I now know all the more how tough Form 6 is
I now think that it is possible to achieve good results in Form 6 as long as one works hard
Instead of thinking that Form 6 is impossible.

As it is, I am now all the more grateful to God for blessing me with JPA scholarship
Because he knows how much I would have struggled
studying in Form 6
He knows full well,
how much I always have to push myself to study all the science subject
God knows that I really wanted to study something I love
and he knows how much I wanted Social Science.

For all those of my friends who did not get JPA,
Jia You! I salute you guys who go to Form 6.
Having such a good attitude to persevere.
